All orders must be placed by 4:00 p.m. one business day before the equipment is needed. Plan ahead for university holidays and breaks. When you need equipment on a day following a break or holiday, submit the request at least one business day before the holiday or break begins.
Equipment must be picked up at the Anderson Center Rm 28 during normal business hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.Top
Equipment Loan Policy
I. Equipment or materials, which are part of the inventory of Technology Support Services, are not to be used for personal use.
II. Equipment and materials are primarily to be used by faculty, administrators, and staff. Students' requests will be filled upon discretion of Technology Support Services staff.
III. Equipment which is taken off campus for non-academic use is not covered by UD's insurance policy and therefore the borrower will be responsible for replacing the equipment if it is lost, stolen or damaged.
IV. Faculty, staff, and students accept the responsibility for the care and safety of the equipment while in their possession.
V. Faculty, staff, and students who fail to take proper measures to ensure the safe return of equipment in a timely fashion may lose borrowing privileges, face fines for damages, or be required to pay for the replacement of the equipment. (So please be careful with it!)
