Connect with Fellow Flyers
After graduation, Flyers spread their wings around the globe. Visit our new Alumni Community to reconnect with old housemates, post a Class Note about what you've been up to and view upcoming alumni events.
Please note that logins to our previous alumni site created before 1/31/13 will not carry over to our new system. Creating a new profile is fast and easy!
We're all members
The University of Dayton's Alumni Association fosters lifelong involvement of alumni with the University. We support and build upon the University's efforts to be a top-tier Catholic research university.
Our programs, activities and services help you stay connected to your alma mater even if you live halfway around the world. All graduates of the University of Dayton are automatically members of our Alumni Association. There are no membership dues.
We are led by the 16 members of our Board of Directors; four are alumni who represent the alumni chapters throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Our board also includes the chairs of the Golden Flyers and day10 committees and the president of Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow student group.
Alumni chapters meet in their local communities to build relationships between and among University of Dayton graduates. Events range from service events and concerts to game watches, picnics with new students and activities to raise money to fund scholarships and campus initiatives, including renovating the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception and creating an Alumni Center on campus.
The staff in the Alumni Relations department in University Outreach and Engagement support all of the volunteers who lead the Alumni Association, the local chapters and various shared interest groups.
Carrying the Flyer Pride
The alumni awards program was created in 1967 by the Alumni Association to recognize and honor University of Dayton alumni whose accomplishments exemplify our unofficial motto: "Learn, Lead and Serve."
We're proud of what our alumni do around the world. You lead in your communities. You create new ways to serve and meet needs. You take what you learned as a student and use it to make things better in your business, where you live and for the the people closest to you.
Every year we highlight some of the amazing things you or your classmates have done.
We Carry the Flyer Passion
It's not hard to find University of Dayton alumni on game day. Just listen for the loud, unified chants of "We Are UD." Whenever the Flyers play, our graduates meet up and get their Red Scare on.
Alumni chapters keep you connected to classmates as well as the University of Dayton. Graduates volunteer to organize and run anything and everything that fellow University of Dayton graduates want to do. The calendar of alumni events is rarely the same from city to city, but we all still share that Flyer passion.
Whether you're into sports, music, raising money for scholarships, mentoring students or just socializing with classmates, you will always find alumni ready to go with you.
Memories Still LingerIt may have been years ago, but it feels like yesterday. Your days of relaxing on porches, attending service club meetings, and studying late into the night may have passed, but you carry those memories in your heart every day.
day10 represents the voice of our young alumni in the first ten years. Our goal is to provide opportunities for day10 members to interact with our alma mater, including peer to peer support, social opportunities, career networking and beyond.
If you have event ideas or would like to get involved, please contact us.
Wisdom, Generosity and Spirit
Golden Flyers consists of alumni who have celebrated the 50th year anniversary of the graduation of their class from the University of Dayton.
Our history and legacy rest on the shoulders of these graduates who have lived the UD spirit for more than half a century. They are our pride and inspiration; we are proud to carry on their tradition.
